7/28 5am: Way to swim to your potential this summer swimmers from a very proud coaching staff. Remember success is not measured by first places, gold medals, and blue ribbons. Success is measured by taking the talent that has been given you and maximizing that through honest hard work, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT FAILS TO WORK HARD!......Despite you or your team's finish. That is a true measure of success. Have a great break: stay active, rest and eat healthy as we have established ourselves a great stepping stone for the fall season
**Lightning swimmers came out of a rough ocean Saturday morning with more confidence, more strength, more respect for mother nature! Great job swimmers in tackling some challenging conditions and coming out on top!

***In this day and age of winds of change, those things that are solid in our lives, family, friends, and teammates make our team extremely worthwhile. This team is more then a superficial gathering of athletes trying to tout their prowess. We ARE family I am proud to be associated with you and yours. Please remember to read our handbook if you are unfamiliar with this team's mission and dynamics.
***** Swimming, with success so relative and on so many different levels ultimately becomes a true test of individual fortitude balanced with working together as a team.

We are extremely fortunate to have such an excellent line up of coaches. Character building is not an easy task in this day and age of so many shallow distractions. Our staff takes pride in challenging our young people on every level of their being to see them gain an edge in an upcoming challenging life. Many of our coaches have come up through the Lightning program and we are fortunate to having them give back to your child as they progress.
