Coach’s Corner
*5/23: The Senior Groups look forward to another exciting team trip to Winter Park's Trinity Prep Aquatics and Cocoa Beach! 41 Athletes will be attending this years event. Team preliminary entries now posted on "2013 Meet Schedule" page.
*5/22: As mentioned in our handbook: Any swimmer/parent not in agreement or happy with the Lightning Swim Team, its mission and team philosophy has options! Check out the following excellent teams in the PB County area: Wellington Swim Team, Oxbridge Swim Team in PB Gardens, North Palm Beach Country Club, Jupiter Dragons Swim Team, YMCA of West Palm Beach, YMCA of Boyton Beach, FLA Swim Team in Delray Beach or Boca Raton, St. Andrew's Swim Team in Boca Raton. All these teams have excellent coaching staffs, impeccable organization, and supporting parents.

*5/19: 133 Personal Best Swims at Coral Springs LC Inv. This Weekend! Very good early season swim meet with some very good early season efforts! Congrats Will Pisani cracking 3 new team records.
*5/16: 9am Lake Lytal is in need of its Parents to Step to the Plate and take advantage of an opportunity to VOLUNTEER at our upcoming home meet on June 1, 2013. This is a developmental meet where we will see our up and coming Red, Bronze, Silver, and Dev. High School swimmers compete. Also swimmers who have not achieved JO cuts or Sr. Champs cuts in particular events in the Sr. level will have an opportunity to compete.
Parents.....Go to "2013 Meets at Lake Lytal" Page then click on "June 1, 2013 Area 1 Developmental Meet" and then "Volunteer Sign-Up" in order to get the best spot in the house. If you do not wish to Volunteer you will be assessed $10.

*5/23: Preliminary Team Entries for Lightning's Senior Travel Meet to Trinity Prep Aquatics and Cocoa Beach NOW POSTED on the "2013 Meet Schedule" Page. Entries will be finalized by Friday May 31st 6pm.
*5/16: Volunteer Sign Up NOW AVAILABLE for the Lightning home developmental meet on June 1st. See "Coach's Corner" on where to sign-up. This will prevent you from being invoiced the $10 (8 & Und). or $15 (9 & Over) home meet assessment.
*5/13 12pm: HOTEL INFORMATION NOW POSTED FOR THE INTERNATIONAL AGE GROUP INV. AT FORT LAUDERDALE! Check on the "Meet Schedule" Page under the Meet Information. Don't procrastinate...hotel rates will change once blocks are filled.
*5/6: Training Schedule for May 2013 and the first week of Summer Training NOW POSTED on the "Lightning Practice & Meet Schedule" Page. Note any afternoon Red & Bronze Groups are welcome to train with the Summer Swim League as well as the availability of High School Developmental Group at 9am.
*4/30: Meet Information for the June 1 home developmental meet at Lake Lytal is NOW POSTED on the "Meet Schedule" Page. This is an excellent opportunity to get some much needed high school community service hours for swimmers not participating.
